This folder contains data from the model hindcasts the way they are provided on the Maremip 
or CMIP5 servers. They use different names, file types, resolution, variable names etc, but often 
within the netcdf files there is a description. 

Model names are very confusing, as sometimes the name of the institute, the Earth System Model or
the Ecosystem model is used (or something completely different). I have re-named the folders using 
the following syntax:
NameOfInstitute_NameOfEarthSystemModel_NameOfEcosystemModel
Sometimes the Earth System Model and the Institute have the same name, in which I have written it
only once. Here is a list which might be of help:

The "ALLMODELS" folder contains files that I have created. I have summarized all model results with 
regard to a specific variable in one file, and also regridded the data to a 1x1deg grid, adjust the 
time periods, and did a quality check to the variables I used. I would still recommend to check if the 
results make sense, e.g. sometimes models use different units and I might have overlooked it.
