README_GFDL_ESM2M_RCP85_MAREMIP_NPP_drivers_data.txt 2014/08/07 Jasmin John Data requested by Charlotte Laufkoetter and Judith Hauck for MAREMIP collaborations on future drivers of marine primary productivity and seasonal CO2 uptake in the Southern Ocean. Simulations were made using GFDL-ESM2M for the RCP8.5 concentration- driven scenario, viz: ESM2M-HC2_2006-2100_all_rcp85_ZC2 Note that this simulation was run on a different computing system to the publicly available equivalent CMIP5 simulation and will thus have different internal variability, and should therefore be considered a different ensemble member. Data was requested for two periods: 2012-2031 and 2081-2100. All data are provided at monthly resolution, and are either 2-D or 3-D. Note that the variable names and units may not match those of the publicly available CMIP5 simulation, as fields were not CMORized to match CMIP5 naming and unit conventions. Below, I have provided a list of GFDL model variable names and units with a mapping to CMIP5 names and units where possible. Unit conversions are also indicated.
